Workshops Series Summer 2023:

Salsa Beginner Footwork: 

Mondays at 7pm. from June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24

This workshop consists of 5 classes with a 60 minute duration. Ideal for individuals who are absolute beginners with zero dance experience. Introduces salsa basic footwork for both lead and follow, including turns, cross body leads and other salsa fundamentals. Emphasis placed on learning salsa timing and applying workshop concepts to songs. Pre-requisite: willingness to learn and have fun. This workshop will be a pre-requisite for Beginner Salsa Partner dancing for September 2023. 

Bachata-Absolute Beginner Part II:

July 10th, 2023 at 8pm.

This 75 minute workshop is for individuals who have completed our beginner introduction to Bachata Part I. Dancers will expand the Bachata Basics, Turns and grow their repertoire of Bachata patterns, builds the memory of both followers and leads. Pre-Requisite: TLOS Bachata Series from Spring 2023. 

Bachata-Novice:

July 17th, 2023 at 8pm.

This 75 minute workshop is for individuals who have dominance of the basic steps and turns. Workshop starts with footwork and adds partner work to build your Bachata repertoire, targets dancers with salsa or bachata dance experience.

How to prepare for my first class?

Arrive 5 minutes before class to change into clean indoor shoes, sneakers or dance shoes. Outdoor shoes not permitted.

Wear comfortable attire. Bring water. Attend solo or with a partner. Masking at your discretion is advised.
